As Digital Product Manager, I led the end-to-end design, delivery, and optimization of Safaricom Ethiopia’s web self-care platform (myaccount.safaricom.et), empowering consumers to independently manage their accounts. My responsibilities included:
Product Ownership & Strategy: Defined product vision, prioritized features, and translated customer needs into actionable user stories and flows.
User-Centered Design: Developed 20+ user journeys and flow designs, iteratively refining UI/UX with design and development teams to ensure intuitive, seamless, and responsive experiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Worked closely with front-end and back-end developers, system architects, and QA teams to ensure technical feasibility and smooth delivery.
Feature Management: Oversaw core functionalities, including account balance checks, top-ups, bundle purchases, real-time usage tracking, FAQ access, and shop locator tools.
Continuous Improvement: Monitored user feedback and analytics to optimize workflows, improve accessibility, and enhance overall platform usability.
